- How may I pay for my subscription to The Outlook online edition?
- We accept the following major credit cards for online orders of The Outlook online edition: VISA, MasterCard, American Express. During the subscription process, please select the card type you want to use and then enter your card number, expiration date, and, if your card has one, the card security code. If you are new to ordering online, we encourage you to read our Terms of Service page.
- Is my personal and credit card information safe?
- You can order online with confidence that your credit card information is protected when transmitted online. Orders on our site are encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology - one of the most prevalent and secure systems available online. SSL is an extremely complex form of cryptography that makes it virtually impossible for a third party to decrypt any personal information you provide. Also, to protect your information once your transaction is complete, we store your personal information on a server stored securely behind our firewall.

- How do I apply a Promotional Code to my order?
- New customers may receive limited-time Promotional Codes for The Outlook online edition in magazine, newspaper or trade show advertisements. These Promotional Codes will usually provide an alphanumeric code to redeem during online checkout. If you are in receipt of a promotional code, please enter it on the subscribe page during the online subscription process to apply the promotion to your order. The subscribe page is the page where you select a subscription plan to The Outlook online edition.
- Will I receive a receipt or a confirmation notice for my online subscription?
- You will receive an on-screen confirmation if you've successfully registered/subscribed. Also, an email containing details about your subscription will be sent to the email address you provided during registration.
- If I cancel my monthly or annual subscription, will the charge for unused days be refunded?
- If you cancel your monthly or annual subscription, Standard & Poor's will not refund unused days. However, your access to The Outlook will remain active for the remainder of that month's or year's billing period.
